What is a bottle sorter?

Bottle sorters are workers responsible for sorting, inspecting, and organizing bottles—often in recycling centers, beverage plants, or packaging facilities. Their primary duties include separating bottles by type, color, or material, checking for damage or contamination, and preparing bottles for reuse or recycling. This role helps ensure efficient production processes and supports environmental sustainability by facilitating proper recycling practices.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a bottle sorter, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Bottle Sorter, you need attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow safety and sorting procedures, typically requiring a high school diploma or equivalent.
