Plastic Sorters are workers responsible for separating different types of plastic materials, typically in recycling facilities. They identify, classify, and sort plastics according to type, color, and quality to ensure materials are properly recycled or processed. This job is important for reducing contamination in recycling streams and ensuring that plastics can be effectively reused or repurposed. Plastic Sorters often work with conveyor belts, manual sorting, and sometimes automated systems to complete their tasks.

What are some common challenges faced by plastic sorters, and how can they be managed on the job?

Plastic sorters often encounter challenges such as identifying and separating different types of plastics quickly and accurately, sometimes in noisy or fast-paced environments.
