Job description

TBI Unlimited, LLC, a Landscape Design/Build firm based in Upper Deerfield Township, NJ, is in the process of expanding our team. We are currently seeking a full-time, in-house creative landscape designer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail in landscape design, be self-motivated, organized, and capable of adhering to deadlines. A minimum of one year of relevant work experience is required.
Position Responsibilities: 

  • Developing base maps and site analysis.
  • Prepares Landscape and Hardscape designs for prospective and existing clients.
  • Unveiling and presenting design to clients.
  • Ordering and acquiring materials.
  • Coordination of project installation with the project leader.
  • On site Layout.
  • Client Correspondence.
  • Manages assigned accounts.
  • Increase sales in respective accounts.
  • Represent the company at networking and public relations functions
Knowledge and Experience Requirements: 

  • This position requires a degree in Landscape Design, Horticulture or Architecture.
  • Knowledge of botanical nomenclature, proper plant selection, and plant characteristics.
  • Full knowledge of hardscaping materials and constructional techniques for interlocking pavers, masonry and segmental retaining walls, wet and dry-laid natural stone, stone and brick veneer, garden structures, water features, and low-voltage lighting.
  • Understanding site elevations and proper surface-water drainage techniques.
  • A valid NJ Driver’s License and must be able to pass a drug test.
  • The ability to use Dynascape, PRO Landscape and Sketch Up.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
