Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled individual contributor working in our semiconductor manufacturing facility. As an integral part of our engineering team you will perform work in Process Control, Disposition of Discrepant Material, Troubleshooting Process Issues, Yield Improvement, and assisting Production as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Resolves production operating problems.
  • Accurately dispositions all areas of discrepant material reports (DMR).
  • Interprets and analyzes production data from DMR dispositions to identify trends.
  • Communicates results of experiments, tool qualifications, and other engineering tasks.
  • Conducts and develops operator training and creates specifications defining best known practices and engineering tasks.
  • Analyzes test and inspection yields to improve yields and quality. Conduct failure analysis when needed.
  • Evaluates new manufacturing technologies and develops and maintains standard operating procedures.
  • Develops systems to reduce cycle time, improve throughput, increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
  • AS Degree in Chemistry, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, other related discipline or the equivalent in education and directly related work experience.
  • Must have the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret technical documents and manuals.
  • Good oral and written communication skills and willingness to work as a team.  Flexibility and a strong self-initiative are critical.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment with semiconductor products and related manufacturing equipment.

  • This role will work on site in Roseville, CA.
  • The position is eligible for 15% shift premium pay

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position varies considerably depending upon qualifications. The base salary range for this position is $24.00-$32.00/ hr. with built in overtime and shift pay. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
