Job description

Job Functions/Duties
• Testing downhole equipment using Aquila testing software, Vibrometer, Hi-Pot, Megometer, Ohmmeter
• Confer with engineering personnel to resolve problems relating to specifications and to review test plans, such as types and cycles of tests, conditions under which tests are to be conducted, and duration of tests.
• Examine parts for conformance with dimensional specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
• Monitor controls, instruments, and record test data for engineer's use.
• May recommend changes in test methods or equipment for engineering review.
• Sandblasting
• Operating forklift.
• Performs washing of equipment and parts.
• Know and enforce safety and security procedures and proper use of equipment and material. Actively promote safety process and report any safety issues to proper channels for action.
Qualifications/Education Requirements
• Good communication skills.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Understand pump, seal and motor test results.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of testing experience preferred.
• Electrical experience preferred.
• Annual CPR / AED and Electrical Safety Training
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Continuously required to move about the facility
Physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
Work is mostly in non-climate controlled environment
Continuous standing for long periods of time
On call required
Exposure to shop and field elements such as noise, dust, odors and temperature variations
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection, hardhat and safety shoes while in shop environment or on job site.
