About the Role

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a highly motivated, metrics-driven Recruiter to join our team in Plano, TX. This position requires a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-based environment, consistently meeting and exceeding hiring goals. The ideal candidate is proactive, results-oriented, and excels at identifying and engaging top talent.

As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and presenting candidates for various job assignments, ensuring alignment with client needs. Success in this role requires strong networking skills, the ability to manage high-volume requisitions, and a drive to achieve performance metrics.


Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Source, screen, and place top talent in contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions.
  • Metrics-Driven Performance: Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly hiring goals, including candidate outreach, submissions, and placements.
  • Candidate Sourcing & Engagement: Utilize Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Bullhorn, LinkedIn, college resources, and other ATS/social media platforms to identify top candidates.
  • Screening & Qualification: Conduct phone and video interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Collaboration with Sales & Clients: Work closely with Business Development Representatives and clients to understand hiring needs and deliver the best candidates.
  • Data-Driven Recruiting: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to optimize sourcing strategies and improve conversion rates.
  • Onboarding & Compliance: Oversee new hire paperwork, background checks, and compliance requirements to ensure a smooth hiring process.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine recruiting strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (agency or corporate) with a proven track record of hitting metrics.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and proactive in managing multiple job requisitions.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet high-performance targets in a metrics-driven environment.
  • Strong networking and sourcing skills with expertise in Boolean searches, social media recruiting, and database mining.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and closing skills with both candidates and clients.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, ATS platforms, and online recruitment tools.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented, high-energy environment.
