What are your contributions to the team?
The AOG Procurement & Customer Response buyer owns end-to-end resolution of Aircraft-on-Ground (AOG) , & Overnight events by combining front-line customer leadership with strategic sourcing and supplier performance management. This role is the customer's single point of contact during (AOG) , & Overnight, drives urgent material availability through contracts, sourcing, logistics, and customs, and coordinates cross-functional actions to achieve rapid Return-to-Service while controlling cost, quality, and delivery risk.
  • Serve as the customer's primary contact for AOG & Overnight events and lead resolution to Return-to-Service.
  • Lead sourcing strategies, RFP/RFQ negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance.
  • Manage shortages, expediting, NCRs, supplier defects, and corrective actions.
  • Oversee logistics and customs for urgent material movements.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment with Engineering, CRC, BAS Material, BAS MRT 3rd party , Aftermarket providers, and leadership.
  • Report KPIs, cost savings, risks, and AOG status to leadership.

How to thrive in this role?
  • 3+ years in procurement/supply chain and/or AOG operations.
  • Strong contract negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
  • Customer-facing experience in high-pressure environments.
  • SAP/ERP and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Working Conditions
  • Office environment with ability to work under pressure.
  • 24/7 shift rotation including overnights and statutory holidays.
  • Exposure to shop environments.
