Copper State Bolt & Nut Co. is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team in the Austin/Hutto Metro Area. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys developing new business, strengthening customer relationships, and helping customers find solutions that keep their operations running.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to grow business within assigned accounts.
  • Prospect and generate new business through networking, referrals, cold calling, jobsite visits, and customer referrals.
  • Manage a sales territory throughout the Metro Area while expanding Copper State's market presence.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand operational needs, strengthen partnerships, and uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Recommend products and value-added solutions that improve customer productivity and efficiency.
  • Prepare quotes, bids, and proposals while following opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Promote Copper State's extensive product offering, inventory management programs, and vendor solutions.
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Branch Leadership to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs within your territory.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and opportunities within company systems.
  • Assist customers with account setup, credit applications, and payment-related questions as needed.
  • Meet or exceed established sales, gross margin, and business development goals.
  • Participate in product training, sales meetings, trade shows, and industry events.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Outside Sales, Territory Sales, Account Management, Business Development, or Industrial Sales experience preferred.
  • Experience selling industrial supplies, fasteners, MRO products, construction supplies, safety products, manufacturing products, electrical products, or related industrial products is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success developing new business and growing customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or business management software.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
