Job Summary:
The Electric Warranty Coordinator will support warranty administrative functions for respective Warranty Managers, Service Supervisors, and Service Technicians. The EWC will be responsible for scheduling in- home service calls, dealing with builders regarding documentation, billing, and various duties assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Monitors and maintains the inbox when needed.
  • Verifies validity of warranty requests prior to creating work orders and Scheduling in Bolt.
  • Schedules verified work orders in Bolt / Service Titan systems.
  • Set-up customers in Sage AR and in Bolt when required.
  • Create jobs in Sage Job Cost and in Bolt when required.
  • Schedule and assign warranty work, Coordinating with the service & RNC Supervisors when necessary and appropriate.
  • Answer Incoming calls and responds to customer / builder needs and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Call customers regarding external service requests to schedule appointments.
  • Request approvals and documentation from builders.
  • Requests approvals and documentation from builders.
  • E-file and properly code / name documentation from builders.
  • Coordinate with internal departments as needed when work become billable.
  • Call customers regarding external warranty requests to schedule appointments.
  • Requests Purchase Orders and documentation from builders; provide PO pricing to builders prior to scheduling service work.
  • Requests WO's for RNC warranty jobs to be completed.
  • Performs other related duties as directed.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, excel, word.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
  • Knowledge in the construction industry preferred.
  • Ability to work independently

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Valid state Driver's license.
  • At least two years of work experience in related field and or Customer service.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
