Compensation: $25-$30 per hour | Overtime after 40 hours
Location: Hudson WI | Regular travel to St. Croix Falls, WI as needed for vacation and business coverage
Schedule: Full Time | Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm | Rotating Saturdays, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Tri-State Bobcat, a premier compact equipment dealer with over 40 years of excellence, is growing and expanding our Hudson, WI location-and we're adding to our team! As part of this growth, we are seeking a Service & Rental Coordinator to support our increasing customer demand and evolving operations.
In this newly added role, you'll work closely with the Service/Rental Manager and Location General Manager to support both our customers and internal team. You'll assist walk-in and phone-in customers with service and rental needs, coordinate technician workflow, and help manage equipment logistics. From preparing quotes to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, this position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering a high level of customer service.
Essential Functions:
Service Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with equipment issues and provide repair estimates
  • Create, schedule, and manage service work orders
  • Communicate with technicians and provide customers with status updates
  • Perform final repair quality checks and process invoices
  • Coordinate internal service needs and maintain an organized service yard

Rental Responsibilities:
  • Provide rental information, quotes, and equipment recommendations
  • Clearly communicate rental policies, terms, and requirements to customers
  • Assist with loading/unloading and instruct customers on safe equipment use
  • Maintain accurate rental records and inspect equipment pre- and post-rental
  • Submit service requests for returned equipment as needed
  • Keep the rental yard clean, organized, and safe
  • Stay current on new equipment through vendor training

Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience working with equipment operations, service, or rental
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand equipment functionality
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with CDK/Intellidealer systems is a plus
