Full-Time | $15–$17/hour | Training Available


Job Summary

McClain Trailers in Houston is hiring a Boat Trailer Service Technician to join our repair team. This position involves repairing boat trailers, replacing damaged or rusted parts, and assisting with transferring boats onto new trailers and properly adjusting them.


Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.


Responsibilities

Repair and service boat trailers

Replace rusted or damaged parts (axles, hubs, brakes, wiring, etc.)

Assist with transferring boats onto new trailers

Adjust trailers to ensure proper fit and function

Perform basic electrical and mechanical work

Maintain a clean and safe work area


Requirements

Mechanical aptitude

Ability to use hand tools and shop equipment

Able to lift heavy parts and work in a physical environment

Reliable and dependable

Valid driver’s license preferred

Preferred (Not Required)

Trailer, automotive, or marine repair experience

Forklift experience

Experience using a torch

Welding experience


Pay & Benefits

$15–$17 per hour (based on experience)
