Jacksonville, Florida | Waterfront Test & Evaluation Facility

Lead Where Innovation Meets the Water

Yamaha Marine is seeking an exceptional Testing Manager to lead one of the most unique operations in the marine industry. Imagine starting your day overlooking the inlet to the Atlantic and walking the docks of Yamaha's private marina while leading a premier waterfront facility that plays a critical role in developing the next generation of marine technology.

This is far more than a traditional management role. You'll oversee facility operations, lead a talented technical team, manage a fleet of test assets, and support on-water validation activities that directly influence future Yamaha products. What you'll be doing:

Lead a World-Class Marine Testing Operation

  • Direct all activities at Yamaha's waterfront testing facility, ensuring safe and efficient execution of testing programs.
  • Plan workloads, allocate resources, and maintain operational readiness to support product development schedules.
  • Manage site assets including boats, trucks, equipment, tools, and facility infrastructure.

Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team

  • Coach, mentor, and develop a team of skilled technicians and marine professionals.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive technical training and career development to build future capability.

Manage a Premier Waterfront Facility

  • Oversee daily operations of Yamaha's marina, offices, and testing grounds.
  • Coordinate contractors, maintenance activities, and facility improvements.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance programs, operational procedures, and emergency response plans.

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and corporate requirements.

  • Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets, forecasting, annual planning, and internal reporting.
  • Protect facility security, confidentiality, and Yamaha intellectual property.

Represent Yamaha

  • Serve as the face of the facility within Yamaha and the local marine community.
  • Participate in on-water testing activities and real-world product evaluations.
  • Promote Yamaha's reputation for innovation, quality, and performance
