Data Governance Manager job at Sigmaways Inc. Santa Rosa, CA.

As a Senior IT Data Governance Analyst you will evaluate how well enterprise data and analytics operations align with internal policies, standards, and best practices and Suggest ways to enhance data governance effectiveness

Responsibilities
  • Analyze relevant policy and program requirements for data governance and ensure technical integration of policy requirements, specifically related to attribute-based access controls.
  • Design and implement methodologies to track and measure compliance.
  • Develops data access methodologies to establish attribute-based access controls, transition from roles-based access controls to attribute based access controls.
  • Analyze relevant policy and program requirements, including data governance, data licenses, and records management, from the Board of Governors and System business lines and ensure technical integration of policy requirements.
  • Develop and conduct assessments to assess risks and compliance with enterprise data and analytics policies and standards; make improvement recommendations and implement changes to enable greater effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Work with project teams to understand the business environment to manage enterprise-wide information/data support systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Typical Experience Typically has 5+ years of related experience as IT Data Governance Analyst.
  • Develop and write access control policies in Immuta.
  • Analyze and translate data governance and data management requirements from the Board of Governors, National Business Lines, and Banks into requirements and processes to enable compliance, accountability, data quality, discoverability and access.
  • Provides support for master data management, logical data, quality system development, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Experience with Immuta and Collibra integration.
  • Works on multiple projects/issues/enhancements as part of an Agile Release Team.
  • Works on complex enterprise-wide projects/issues/enhancements.
