Endocrinology – Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP)

Department of Medicine Boston Medical Center - Brighton Boston Medical Center Health System

Position Overview

Boston Medical Center (BMC) - Brighton, a member of the Boston Medical Center Health System, is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) to join our Endocrinology practice. We are looking for a motivated clinician with strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

The successful candidate will work closely with endocrinologists, advanced practice providers, certified diabetes educators, and clinical pharmacists to deliver comprehensive endocrine care across both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient endocrine care at the BMC Brighton Endocrinology Clinic, with a focus on diabetes care.
  • Provide inpatient endocrinology consultation coverage at BMC Brighton.
  • Collaborate with referring providers, on-site pharmacists, and multidisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality care for patients with endocrine disorders.
  • Utilize and support emerging diabetes technologies, including continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems and insulin delivery technologies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical operations, and program development activities within the Endocrinology Division.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Strong interest in endocrinology and outpatient specialty care.
  • New graduates with a demonstrated interest in endocrinology are encouraged to apply.

Compensation Range:

$109,000.00- $158,000.00

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
