QA Chemist (M-F, 2:00pm-10:30pm)

Job Description:

THE ROLE

Our site inBillerica, MAis seekingaQA Chemist (Scientist I)to join our team.Monday-Friday, 2pm-10:30pm.

The QA Chemistis responsible forconducting QA testing and will provide analytical support for manufacturing production of our Micro-contamination control and membrane products, as well as limited R&D development support.The QA chemist will prepare, load, and test samples using ICP-MS, Ion Chromatography, TOC, NVR, and Karl Fischer.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Work in a clean room environment to conduct routine QA product testing of filtration and membrane products from manufacturing.
  • Complete routine testing independently following established priorities.
  • Follow and document standard operating procedures for conducting required tests.
  • Prepare samples for analysis andloadinstrumentation.
  • Analyze and interpret test data,maintaindocumentation of test operation, and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and trouble-shoot equipment.
  • Work on individualprojects asassigned by a supervisor.
  • Remove and dispose of waste chemicalsin accordance withcompanyestablishedsafety procedures and work tomaintaina safe work environment.
  • Handle requests appropriately andin a timely manner.

WHAT WE SEEK

  • ABachelor's degree in Chemistryor a related discipline
  • Strong internship/co-op (or work) experience in a related field.
  • Strong scientific approach and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate and successfully work in a team environment.
  • Able to work independently and follow established priorities.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

  • Experience running analytical instrumentation is a plus.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills will elevate a candidate.
  • Previouscleanroom experience is preferred but notrequired.
