Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead/Principal Engineer with extensive experience in Data Engineering and Data Science to support the design and development of advanced forecasting and analytical solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in time series analysis, econometric modeling, and building forecasting models and systems. This role requires the ability to work with large economic datasets and develop scalable data solutions that deliver meaningful business insights.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain forecasting models and forecasting systems.
• Work with Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data and other economic datasets to support analytical initiatives.
• Perform time series analysis and econometric modeling to generate actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain economic and statistical indices.
• Design scalable data engineering solutions for large and complex datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven business solutions.
• Analyze complex data and provide recommendations based on statistical and forecasting models.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of data and analytical solutions.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data engineering and analytics platforms.
Required Qualifications
• 10-20 years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Data Science.
• Experience working at a Lead or Principal Engineer level.
• Strong experience working with Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data.
• Experience working with econometric data and statistical analysis.
• Hands-on expertise in Time Series Analysis.
• Proven experience building forecasting models and forecasting systems.
• Experience developing and maintaining economic or statistical indices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with large datasets and building scalable data solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience designing predictive analytics or machine learning solutions.
• Knowledge of modern data engineering tools and cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience working in enterprise environments.
