Position: IRL Supervisor / Blood Bank Supervisor Location: Seattle, Washington
  • Type: Permanent and Full-Time

  • Salary Range: $103k -164k+/Annual
About the Role:
  • Oversee and mentor departmental staff, ensuring high-quality testing and workflow efficiency
  • Manage departmental projects, quality review, SOP revisions, validations, and process improvements
  • Provide technical expertise in immunohematology testing while supporting new method development
  • Participate in interdepartmental initiatives and represent the department on leadership teams
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
Requirements:
  • ASCP certification as a Specialist in Blood Banking (SBB) required; MLS preferred
  • Meets CLIA qualifications for General Supervisor (High Complexity Testing)
  • 5+ years of lab technical experience, including at least 2 years in immunohematology reference testing
  • Prior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred
