Job Description

As Workplace Services Manager, you will lead the strategy, design, and delivery of modern workplace and collaboration solutions across the enterprise to ensure the delivery of modern, secure, and efficient collaboration tools and services that enhance employee productivity and engagement across the organization.

You will manage a team of engineers and drive the evolution of Microsoft 365 platforms, ensuring secure, scalable, and user-centric services that enhance employee productivity.

This role plays a key part in global initiatives, including digital transformation and M&A integrations, while partnering closely with business stakeholders and strategic vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Service Ownership

  • Lead the global collaboration engineering domain, with a focus on Microsoft 365
  • Define and drive the collaboration roadmap aligned with business priorities
  • Translate business needs into scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions
  • Promote innovation through pilots and emerging workplace technologies
  • Continuously improve the employee digital experience

Team & Project Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of workplace engineers
  • Deliver global workplace projects and key transformation initiatives
  • Ensure smooth transition of services into operations (Global Operations Center)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align IT services with business needs

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Act as primary contact for collaboration-related demands and projects
  • Manage strategic vendors and partners (e.g., Microsoft, Accenture)
  • Support M&A activities with collaboration integration expertise

Operations & Continuous Improvement

  • Act as Tier 3 escalation point for complex incidents
  • Drive service standardization, documentation, and knowledge sharing
  • Monitor KPIs and reduce support demand through automation and optimization
  • Ensure successful adoption and onboarding of collaboration tools

Security & Compliance

  • Partner with IT Security to ensure compliance and platform protection
  • Enforce policies on access, data protection, and endpoint governance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in workplace technology, collaboration platforms, or end-user computing environments
  • Minimum 2+ years in a technical lead or team management role
  • Strong expertise across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including migrations, integrations, and service optimization
  • Experience operating in multinational and matrixed organizations
  • Proven track record in leading technical teams and delivering global IT services
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Required Skills:

  • Microsoft 365 & Azure ecosystem (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams)
  • PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph
  • Experience with M365 migrations (e.g., BitTitan, ShareGate)
  • ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred)
  • Endpoint management (Intune; JAMF is a plus)
  • Automation tools (Power Automate or similar)
  • Familiarity with modern workplace tech (Teams Telephony, meeting rooms, etc.)
