Training Coordinator

OVERVIEW

You will be part of a top-performing training department and report to an expert Director of Learning & Innovation in the industry. In this role, you will support the coordination and execution of training activities across BMWC by organizing schedules, maintaining documentation, assisting with reporting, and helping administer training programs. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while helping ensure training initiatives run smoothly and efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Training Coordinator, you will:
  • Manage training course logistics, including rooms, spaces, hotels, travel, attendees, facilitators, and food for events and courses.
  • Support training logistics such as room setup, materials preparation, sign-in sheets, and training supplies.
  • Manage training calendars, schedule classes, and coordinate meetings with internal staff and external partners.
  • Maintain training records, attendance logs, certifications, and compliance documentation.
  • Perform basic data analysis to support training decisions.
  • Communicate with trainees, supervisors, internal and external training partners, and other vendors.
  • Create meeting minutes and internal communications.
  • Update training materials as needed.
  • Assist with monthly training newsletters or program updates.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of training coordination, event logistics, or administrative experience.
  • Experience with basic data tracking and analysis.
  • Experience with a Learning Management System or other employee development systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a customer service mindset.
  • Ability to interpret simple data sets and identify basic trends and needs.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of groups, including training staff, field employees, office personnel, third-party vendors, trainees, and executives.
