As a Biomedical Site Manager in the Biomedical Engineering Department, you lead with expertise and purpose to ensure biomedical equipment performs safely, reliably, and at the highest standard for every customer. You inspire and guide a team of Biomedical Technicians while partnering cross-functionally to deliver exceptional service, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance. Through proactive problem-solving and technical leadership, you turn challenges into opportunities that strengthen trust and performance. Your stewardship elevates both people and technology, directly advancing patient care and customer confidence.


This position requires daily onsite team oversight with some flexibility to work remotely at times. The role is responsible for supporting customer locations in Marysville, Rideout and Lodi, CA areas.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Oversee all biomedical service operations for assigned accounts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, supervising daily activities, and coordinating outside vendors.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact, owning the customer experience through clear communication, urgency, trust-building, training, and proactive solution recommendations.
  • Represent Block Imaging professionally on hospital committees, in departmental meetings, and in all customer interactions.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the Biomedical team (BMET I/II/III), fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture aligned with Block Imaging values.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, audits, HIPAA standards, documentation policies, and computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Manage operational processes including PM completion, service work orders, inventory control, tool and equipment calibration, and accurate reporting of parts and repairs.
  • Maintain an organized, efficient, and safe work environment while optimizing labor, materials, and resources to support high-quality service delivery.
  • Lead and develop team members by setting clear direction, priorities, and expectations; providing regular feedback; and modeling organizational values to foster a healthy, trust-based culture of accountability and growth.
  • Driving and vehicle operation are essential functions of this role.

Requirements:

Role Competencies:

  • Strong PC competency, including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and computer hardware.
  • Advanced experience with complex test equipment, mechanical devices, tools, and electronic circuit boards/processors.
  • Expertise in at least one specialty area within a single manufacturer.
  • Proficient in networking technologies and troubleshooting methods.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record compliant with Block Imaging’s driving policy.


Experience and Education Requirements:

Preferred Experience

  • 5 years servicing biomedical equipment preferred.


Education (or equivalent experience)

  • Associate degree or equivalent training/experience in electronics or Biomedical Engineering.


Preferred Certifications

  • CBET Certification desirable, Lean certification desirable.


Travel Requirements:

This role requires frequent travel to assigned healthcare facilities and flexibility of schedule.

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout various work environments for extended periods.

  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in any situation where it is necessary.
  • Compliance with hospital health and safety requirements. Ability to safely operate and enter/exit vehicles, drive for extended periods and work in varied environmental conditions with potential exposure to machinery, noise, and hazardous materials.

The base pay range for this position is:

  • $90,000 - $120,000
