Summary:

The Mitigation Project Manager will oversee the finances, profitability and the day-to-day, lead and manage projects focused on reducing risks and mitigating the impacts of potential hazards. Managers also foster a high-performance and fulfilling team environment that drives the collaboration our projects thrive on to ensure that the final product is of the highest quality and exceeds client expectations. Some travel is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinates and supervises work on emergency water, smoke, and fire damage calls to assess damage to property and provide assistance including but not limited to removal of all affected building materials
  • Coordinates and supervises work including demolition and clean up
  • Oversee the setup of fans & dehumidifiers and other equipment to mitigate the loss
  • Supervises the field technician in emergency services duties
  • Loads/unloads supplies/equipment into and from vehicles, cleans and returns materials and equipment to proper storage areas
  • Drives and operates a company vehicle equipped with cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies to the work site
  • Perform emergency extraction of water from various surfaces with truck-mounted or portable equipment
  • Performs basic demo tasks—cutting drywall, removing baseboards, and various flooring material sprays fungicides and other materials
  • Provides exceptional customer service, treats property and contents with respect and care, and brings any issues or customer concerns to the job leader
  • Communicate effectively with clients and management
  • Supervise and evaluate employees
  • Other duties as assigned

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient knowledge of web-based software platforms
  • Utilize phone or tablet to upload documentation of loss with photographs and written description
  • Microsoft Excel and Outlook are a plus, but not required

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Two or more years in a leadership role
  • Two or more years of restoration industry experience
  • Consistently walk, stand, climb, kneel, lift, and carry 50lbs or more on a daily basis
  • IICRC Certifications Preferred
  • Valid Driving License and pass a MVR check
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen


Salary: 60,000-70,000 plus uncapped commission
