Job description

Steri-Clean is hiring a dependable, hardworking Field Technician to join our team. This is not a typical cleaning job. Our technicians handle challenging cleaning and remediation situations, including hoarding, biohazard, trauma scenes, odor removal, animal waste, and other extreme cleaning environments.

We are looking for someone with prior cleaning, labor, restoration, or remediation experience who is professional, respectful, physically capable, and able to handle difficult situations with maturity and a strong stomach.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Perform detailed cleaning, sanitizing, and remediation services in residential and commercial properties
  • Work in challenging environments involving heavy clutter, strong odors, biohazards, and other unsanitary conditions
  • Remove debris, contents, and contaminated materials safely and efficiently
  • Follow company procedures for PPE, safety, cleaning methods, and jobsite documentation
  • Lift, move, and load heavy items such as furniture, bags, boxes, and equipment
  • Set up and use cleaning equipment, air scrubbers, foggers, vacuums, sprayers, and related tools
  • Communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, and clients
  • Maintain a respectful, compassionate attitude in sensitive situations

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Experience in cleaning, deep cleaning, restoration, remediation, moving, construction labor, or similar hands-on work preferred
  • Strong stomach and ability to work around unpleasant sights, smells, and conditions
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding work throughout the day
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Willingness to travel locally to job sites
  • Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and maintain professionalism
  • Must be comfortable wearing PPE, including respirators, gloves, coveralls, and other protective gear
  • Valid driverโ€™s license preferred
