Pay Range:
$87,600.00 - $144,000.00
Position Summary:
We are looking for a Manager of Credit and Collections that will be responsible for overseeing the credit management and collections functions to minimize credit risk and optimize cash flow. This role leads a team that establishes credit policies, manages customer credit evaluations, monitors accounts receivable, and drives effective collection strategies. This role will work closely with customer service leadership on process improvement and Company initiatives as well as ensure compliance with Company policies and regulatory requirements while fostering strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement credit and collections policies, procedures, and best practices to mitigate risk and improve working capital.
  • Monitor compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing credit and collections.
  • Manage the credit evaluation process, including credit limits, risk assessments, and approvals for new and existing customers.
  • Oversee collections activities partnering closely with Credit and Collections Supervisor on process and strategy ensuring timely follow-up on delinquent accounts, effective resolution of disputes, and projects to address AR clean-up.
  • Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a team of credit analysts and collections specialists to meet departmental and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Customer Success and Legal to address AR-related issues, improve customer satisfaction, and support Company initiatives.
  • Own escalated client issues related to credit and collections ensuring key stakeholders are informed.
  • Manage relationships with external collection agencies when necessary.
  • Analyze accounts receivable metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management on credit exposure, aging, and collection effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and controls.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g. CCE) preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in credit management and B2B collections, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, collections processes, and financial analysis.
  • Experience with credit management software and ERP systems. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
  • Experience leading teams and managing vendors/consultants.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Working Conditions:
  • Onsite work required during standard business hours.
  • Occasional extended hours may be necessary to meet deadlines.
