Bio Clean information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Bio Clean position, and why are they important?

To excel as a Bio Clean professional, you need a solid understanding of hazardous material handling, safety regulations, and proper decontamination techniques, often gained through specialized training or certification in biohazard cleaning. Familiarity with personal protective equipment (PPE), cleaning agents, and biohazard disposal protocols is required to perform tasks safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members are vital soft skills. These attributes are critical to maintaining safety, compliance, and client trust in environments that may involve sensitive or potentially dangerous materials.

What is a Bio Clean job?

A Bio Clean job involves the professional cleaning, sanitizing, and removal of hazardous biological contaminants, such as blood, bodily fluids, and other biohazards. These jobs are often required after traumatic events like crime scenes, unattended deaths, hoarding situations, or infectious disease outbreaks. Bio Clean professionals follow strict safety protocols and use specialized equipment to restore affected areas to a safe and habitable condition.

What jobs pay $10,000 a month without a degree?

Bio Clean jobs typically do not pay $10,000 a month without a degree, as such high earnings are uncommon in cleaning roles. However, some high-paying freelance or entrepreneurial opportunities in cleaning or related fields may reach that level with experience, specialization, or business ownership, often requiring strong skills, certifications, or a proven track record. Most high-earning jobs in this sector involve management, franchise ownership, or specialized services rather than entry-level positions.

What types of environments or situations might a Bio Clean professional work in?

Bio Clean professionals are called upon to decontaminate areas affected by biohazards, such as crime scenes, trauma incidents, chemical spills, infectious disease outbreaks, or hoarding situations. The work environment can range from residential homes and commercial properties to industrial sites and public spaces, requiring adaptability and a high level of safety awareness. Teams typically work in small, close-knit groups, collaborating to follow strict protocols and ensure thorough cleaning. This role often involves varying hours and can sometimes require emergency response outside of typical business schedules, but it offers unique opportunities to make a positive impact on public health and safety.

What jobs pay 2000 a day?

High-paying jobs that can reach $2,000 a day include specialized roles such as surgeons, anesthesiologists, corporate lawyers, and certain executive positions. These roles typically require advanced education, certifications, and significant experience, often involving high-stakes environments or specialized skills.

How do you become a bio cleaner?

To become a bio cleaner, you typically need to have a high school diploma or equivalent and complete specialized training in biohazard cleanup procedures, safety protocols, and the use of personal protective equipment. Certification from recognized organizations and familiarity with OSHA regulations are often required, along with physical fitness and attention to detail for handling biohazardous materials safely.

How much do biohazard cleanup people get paid?

Biohazard cleanup workers typically earn between $15 and $25 per hour, with annual salaries ranging from approximately $30,000 to $50,000. Pay can vary based on experience, certifications, and the complexity of the cleanup tasks performed.

Job description

Work Environment

This is a FULL-TIME outdoor position. Work is performed year-round in Floridaโ€™s climateโ€”expect sun, rain, heat, humidity, insects, standing water, and wildlife. Field crews operate throughout the state, often in remote or rural areas. This position involves working year-round in Floridaโ€™s natural environmentsโ€”ponds, canals, wetlands, and open land. The work includes land clearing, aquatic vegetation control, and general field operations to support environmental management projects across the state. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working outdoors in all elements. For the right candidate, this is a long-term career opportunity with room to grow within a well-established, privately-owned environmental consulting firm.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with land clearing, mowing, and vegetation management on large Florida properties.

  • Perform aquatic vegetation control in ponds, canals, and wetland systems.

  • Conduct native planting and seeding activities as directed by project leads.

  • Operate and maintain hand tools and light equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Work daily in Floridaโ€™s outdoor conditions โ€” heat, humidity, rain, mud, and uneven terrain.

  • Navigate and work within wetlands, hammocks, and natural landscapes.

  • Follow all company safety procedures, environmental regulations, and field protocols.

  • Load and unload materials, transport supplies, and assist with vehicle/equipment maintenance.

  • Complete basic field documentation (logs, forms, photos, and notes).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older (insurance requirement).

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Valid Florida Driverโ€™s License with clean 5-year MVR record.

  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug and alcohol screening, and baseline physical.

  • Must be able to and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., walking or standing for extended periods, and working in hot, humid, and wet conditions.

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

  • Reliable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team in challenging outdoor environments.

  • Current shift hours are 6 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in environmental field work, landscaping, or land management.

  • Familiarity with Florida ecosystems, including native and invasive vegetation.

  • Florida Pesticide or Applicator License (or willingness to obtain โ€” pay increase available).

  • Desire for long-term growth and advancement in environmental field operations.

WE OFFER:

  • Pay increase as soon as you get applicator license!
  • Eligible for annual bonuses
  • Monthly cell phone allowance.
  • Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, and more).
  • Paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).

Tough enough to work outside in all weather?

Willing to work hard, show up, and learn the ropes?

We want you.

Bio-tech is a drug-free, safety-first, equal opportunity employer.

All new employees must be available for a MVR, Drug and Alcohol Screening, and a baseline Physical (full physical)

No sponsorships โ€“ must be authorized to work in the U.S.
