Job DescriptionThe Hydroblasting Technician understands all tasks for hydroblasting service line including but are not limited to moving hoses, loading, and unloading materials, hydroblasting, chemical cleaning, vacuum truck operating, tank cleaning, and barge cleaning.Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesAbility to perform work in enclosed spacesAbility to safely perform work using high pressure water blast equipment to clean heavy industrial equipment (pipe, boilers, tanks, heat exchangers, bundles, etc)Load hoses, chemicals and other equipment required for assigned job onto truckCleanup work area and equipment after work is completedPractices safety procedures in accordance with training and guidelines when workingAssist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and general work areaPerforms other duties as assignedRequirements:TWIC Card requiredValid state identificationAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to understand and follow directions.Ability to climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing between 40 and 60 pounds.Must be able to work 12-hour day or night shifts.Must pass hair follicle drug test, physical, alcohol screen, and all required background checksHydroblasting Technician Description:Career Level: Entry level Experience Required: Prefer 1+ years (not mandatory) Job Type: Employee Job Status: Full Time Hours/Shift: 60 hours weeklyAbout AMERAPEX:Amerapex Corporation is a Houston, Texas based company offering technical expertise and global leverage in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management Services (EPCM), Seismic Services, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) involving corrosion detection.
