Job Description Summary:

We have an immediate opening for the post of Clean out Crew. This Position will be responsible to Clean and maintain assigned area. This Position will perform ground labor and assist equipment operators in the cleaning of poultry houses and equipment.

Job Description:

Adhere to and maintain sanitation, bio-security and safety practicesFollow defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or Work Instructions (WI) to properly complete tasks.General Responsibilities: Prep houses for clean out:Empty feedersRemove all debrisRaise and lower, remove or teardown equipment as necessaryOpen and close house end doors as neededStrip all litterScrape cement floorsUse designated chemicals to sanitized all floors, walls, slats, machinery as defined by the SOP/ WIMove to assist in other departments as requiredOther duties as assigned by supervisorAbility to work cooperatively with supervisors, coworkersComfortable working in an outside environment with exposure to dust, chemicals, pest and wildlifeJob Qualifications: Work with chemicals, such as detergents, disinfectantsLift and move 50 poundsRoutinely work up to 6 days a week, including weekends and holidaysRoutine handling and interacting with live poultryAbility to work unsupervised and self-motivateAbility to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hoursStanding for extended periods of time (6 hours)Grip, grasp or twist using hands and wristsLift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50lbsBend and stoop repetitively throughout out shiftProlonged exposure to dry and dusty environmentsWorks cooperatively with a teamStrong sense of personal responsibility
