Job Overview

The Production Associate I is responsible for maintaining and operation of their primary stations & bindery equipment to company standards. Basic knowledge of printing machinery, cutting, folding, UV coating, sorting and binding machines is desired, but not required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Punctual and dependable.
  • Able to work quickly and able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, able to read and interpret instructions, identify problems/missing information and address proactively.
  • Able to evaluate projects and provide input on productivity and quality improvements.
  • Organized and experienced in managing multiple priorities
  • Open to helping other departments like sorting, coating cutting etc.

Qualifications

  • Basic computer, verbal and written communication skills
  • Working in a manufacturing (warehouse) environment
  • Ability to lift 40lbs.
  • Working with heavy machinery like Bindery & Finishing Equipment
  • Able to stand or/and walk for 70-90% of shift.
