Procon now seeks a Senior BIM Manager for a long term opportunity that is fully remote with occasional travel to San Antonio, TX; Dayton, OH and Albuquerque, NM for project coordination, field verification and client collaboration.

The Senior BIM Manager is responsible for leading enterprise BIM initiatives with a strong emphasis on QA/QC, BIM automation, AI-driven workflows, Scan-to-BIM integration, and digital project delivery across multiple concurrent projects. This role serves as both a technical leader and team manager, driving standardized BIM execution, operational efficiency, and collaboration across project teams and disciplines.

The Senior BIM Manager oversees BIM personnel, mentors project BIM leads, and collaborates with BIM Managers, LiDAR field teams, project managers, and technology stakeholders to develop scalable BIM standards, production workflows, and digital delivery strategies. This position plays a key role in advancing innovation, improving model quality, and supporting fast-paced project execution across the organization.

Requirements

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Additional highly relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 10+ years of BIM/VDC experience with demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary BIM teams and enterprise BIM standards.
  • Strong background in QA/QC, Scan-to-BIM, BIM automation, and BIM coordination workflows.
  • Experience developing Revit families, templates, and automation workflows for MEP systems and digital delivery processes.
  • Knowledge of ISO 19650, COBie, BIM Execution Planning, and digital construction workflows.
  • Experience with BIM technologies and Revit plugins including DiRoots, PyRevit, Dynamo, Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Recap Pro, BIM Track/Revizto, and ACC/BIM 360.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MEP model production, BIM automation, and advanced Revit workflow development.
  • Autodesk Certified Professional certifications.
  • Experience with Revit API development, scripting, and BIM automation tools.
  • PMP, CM-BIM, or VDC certifications preferred.
  • Familiarity with Digital Twin technologies and facilities integration workflows.
  • Experience supporting enterprise BIM implementations across multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

Team Leadership & Model Production Management

  • Lead and manage BIM coordinators, Revit modelers, VDC specialists, and digital delivery staff across multiple projects.
  • Establish and enforce BIM production standards, QA/QC procedures, modeling workflows, and delivery expectations.
  • Oversee model production activities to ensure efficient execution, coordination, and timely delivery of high-quality BIM deliverables.
  • Manage staffing, workload balancing, production schedules, and project priorities to support fast-track project delivery.
  • Mentor modeling teams in Revit best practices, MEP coordination workflows, constructability, and model organization.
  • Develop scalable workflows and standardized processes that improve production efficiency, model consistency, and reduce rework.
  • Monitor production progress, coordination milestones, and deliverables to maintain accountability and project visibility.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and BIM leadership to align staffing, workflows, and delivery expectations.
  • Leverage automation tools, AI-assisted workflows, and standardized Revit processes to improve production speed and model quality.
  • Provide technical leadership, training, and mentorship related to BIM automation, AI integration, generative design, and advanced Revit development practices.
  • Evaluate and support BIM technologies, plugins, and digital workflows that improve collaboration and operational efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enterprise BIM Coordination

  • Collaborate with BIM Managers, VDC leaders, survey/reality capture teams, and client stakeholders to support consistent BIM standards and digital delivery workflows.
  • Develop and maintain organization-wide BIM standards, QA/QC procedures, Revit templates, family libraries, and automation strategies.
  • Participate in BIM strategy, digital transformation, and enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Share workflow improvements, technical innovations, and best practices across project teams and BIM departments.
  • Support collaborative model coordination and multi-project BIM initiatives.
  • Work with project leadership and operations teams to align BIM processes with project goals and client requirements.

BIM QA/QC & Model Governance

  • Develop and manage BIM QA/QC standards, validation procedures, and model governance workflows.
  • Perform model audits to ensure accuracy, constructability, model health, data integrity, LOD compliance, and BIM standards adherence.
  • Establish quality assurance protocols and automated QA/QC review processes using Revit-based and BIM automation tools.
  • Generate QA/QC reports, issue tracking documentation, and corrective action workflows.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of BIM deliverables across projects and disciplines.

Revit Workflow Development, AI Integration & BIM Technology

  • Develop and maintain Revit standards, templates, workflows, family libraries, and BIM best practices across multidisciplinary projects.
  • Lead implementation of BIM automation, AI-driven workflows, and generative design strategies to improve coordination, production efficiency, and model quality.
  • Support development of automated Revit and MEP workflows using tools such as Dynamo, PyRevit, Revit API, Python scripting, and AI-assisted technologies.
  • Standardize and optimize BIM production processes, QA/QC workflows, and digital data management practices.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging BIM technologies, automation platforms, and digital delivery tools to support innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, BIM managers, VDC personnel, and IT groups to align BIM technology strategies and workflow initiatives.
  • Support integration of BIM data into digital twin, facilities management, and smart building environments.

BIM Data Management & Digital Delivery

  • Manage BIM data governance, metadata standards, and digital delivery requirements across projects.
  • Support workflows related to COBie integration, asset data management, facilities management integration, and digital twin readiness.
  • Support Common Data Environment (CDE) implementation and cloud collaboration platforms.
  • Ensure interoperability between BIM systems, GIS platforms, CMMS systems, and construction management software.

NavVis LiDAR Reality Capture & Digital Coordination Workflows

  • Coordinate the intake, validation, and integration of NavVis VLX datasets and point cloud deliverables into Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) workflows.
  • Utilize NavVis Ivion for existing conditions verification, virtual walkthroughs, coordination review, remote collaboration, and QA/QC workflows.
  • Develop standards and best practices for integrating NavVis point cloud and imagery data into BIM coordination and modeling workflows.
  • Collaborate with survey teams, scanning vendors, architects, and engineers to support accurate BIM integration and spatial coordination.
  • Maintain working knowledge of NavVis VLX hardware, NavVis Ivion platforms, and related reality capture workflows to support enterprise BIM initiatives.
