Position Overview:

The Parts Associate plays a critical role in supporting the parts department by managing the full parts sales process, maintaining accurate inventory, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position involves coordinating with the parts manager, internal service teams, and external customers to ensure parts are accurately ordered, received, and delivered. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks while assisting with part selection, troubleshooting, and billing

Responsibilities:

  • Support the parts sales process from start to finish, working closely with the parts manager and team
  • Deliver high-level customer service to both internal departments and external customers
  • Accurately receive, check in, and verify incoming parts orders
  • Pull, fill, and stage parts from inventory while assisting with routine bin checks to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Proactively communicate out-of-stock, backordered, or special-order parts to the parts manager
  • Utilize the parts catalog to correctly identify parts and assist with basic troubleshooting and part selection
  • Answer incoming phone calls, provide price quotes, and respond to parts-related questions
  • Review service and body shop estimates to help ensure parts orders and pricing accuracy
  • Ensure all internal parts requests are properly billed to the correct service repair orders
