Description:


Read and interpret contracts to determine proper invoicing formats;ย 

Generate custom excel based invoice templates and system generated invoices on a daily basis for various engineering and construction contracts;ย 

Coordinate the review and approval of invoices with internal project managers;ย 

Check and verify the accuracy of invoice calculations;ย 

Compile expense reports, timecards, supplier invoices and other documentation as back-up that is to be submitted to the client with the invoice;ย 

Submit invoices via US Postal mail, FedEx, email and or external electronic invoicing programs;ย 

maintain and update an assigned client based invoicing log;ย 

follow up with project managers regarding unbilled work in progress and project status, on a monthly basis;ย 

File invoices and contracts monthly;ย 

audit projects with complicated invoicing requirements on a quarterly basis;ย 

Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Requirements:


1. Associates Degree required. ย 

2. Minimum 5 years prior experience in an accounting related position.

3. Ability to read and interpret contracts;ย 

4. excellent attention to detail and organizational skills;ย 

5. Strong verbal and written communication skills

6. High math aptitude;ย 

7. Intermediate knowledge using Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook programs;ย 

8. Previous Oracle experience (preferably version 11.1)
