Description & Requirements
As a Billing Specialist in our Healthcare group at Forvis Mazars, you will assist long-term healthcare clients with facilitating monthly accounts receivable and billing functions. To be successful in this position, you shouldenjoy solving problems, possess strong attention to detail, and embrace technology. Be a valued member of our team and apply today!
What You Will Do:
  • Work collaboratively with a team in multiple software systems to prepare and bill claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party payers
  • Maintain accounts receivable aging and related reports
  • Post payments to patient accounts
  • Reconcile patient accounts
  • Assist clients with billing and related regulatory matters
  • Maintain a commitment to Unmatched Client Experience

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A background in healthcare accounting, medical billing, or accounts receivable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and Adobe

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience is desirable
  • Experience working with multiple software systems EMR (Electric Medical Records), or EHR (Electronic Health Records)
