Bilingual Medical Assistant (English/Spanish)

As a member of our multi-specialty healthcare organization, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding patient care while creating a welcoming experience for our diverse patient population. Position Summary

The Bilingual Medical Assistant will provide both clinical and administrative support to physicians and advanced practice providers while ensuring excellent patient care. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, has strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist patients in both English and Spanish.
  • Room patients and accurately document vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
  • Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
  • Administer injections, medications, and vaccines as directed.
  • Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and other clinical duties as needed.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient referrals.
  • Answer patient questions and provide education under provider direction.
  • Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure infection control standards are followed.
  • Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of one year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.
