WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (ESSENTIAL DUTIES) ...

We are seeking licensed clinicians to provide assessment and treatment in our Enhanced Outpatient Services Team. In this position you will have a critical role both delivering direct services and as a clinical consultant to the multi-disciplinary team.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide group, individual, and family therapy to clients as required.
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments including initial intakes and on-going assessments.
  • Work with service recipients to create person-centered recovery plans.
  • Provide clinical consultation and guidance to case management staff.
  • Complete all agency records utilizing a collaborative documentation approach.
  • Participate in crisis response services providing risk assessment, crisis intervention, stabilization and counseling, and assessment for hospitalization.
  • Serve as a client advocate with appropriate and timely referrals to other agencies, provide consultation and follow-up communication with law enforcement agencies, community agencies, schools, medical facilities, and inpatient units.
  • Actively participate in team communication processes that ensure appropriate services and outcomes.

Requirements

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU...

  • Master's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, family therapy or a related clinical field.
  • Licensed at the independent practice level as defined by the Rhode Island Department of Health (LICSW) preferred. LCSW and LMHC will also be considered.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical work experience.
  • Credentialed or eligible to be credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional through the Department of BHDDH within 2 months of employment.
  • Has knowledge base and can access all resources for hospitalization and crisis stabilization/hospital diversion.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a positive and genuine outlook about change with a belief that people can achieve positive outcomes.
  • This position may require a flexible schedule.
