FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR

Under the direction of The Studio GM, the F&B Supervisor is a hands-on leader who is responsible for the daily operations of Saint Kate's food and beverage outlet, ensuring exceptional guest service, quality, and operational excellence.

With a prime location in Milwaukee's Theater District, Saint Kate serves as a creative hub for the city, where every aspect of the hotel is inspired by music, painting, sculpture, and design. As a part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, we engage a diverse audience of theater enthusiasts, food connoisseurs, and entertainment seekers.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • Ability to work all front-of-house positions, including Server, Server Assistant, and Host.
  • Supervise daily restaurant operations and staff during assigned shifts.
  • Assist with training, coaching, and onboarding of associates.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards throughout each shift.
  • Operate the POS system and complete required sales and operational reporting.
  • Assist with labor control, inventory management, and supply ordering.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate staff activities to ensure efficient service and proper staffing levels.
  • Assist in executing special events and group functions.
  • Complete shift reports highlighting sales, guest feedback, and operational updates.
  • Communicate associate performance, training needs, and operational concerns to leadership.
  • Remain calm and effective during high-volume periods and emergencies.
  • Support and enforce all hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, or a related service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurants and food & beverage operations.
  • Ability to train, coach, and support team members while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and leadership.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and high level of guest service.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, lifting, reaching, and twisting.
