Are you ready to lead, innovate, and make a significant impact in the dairy industry? We're on the hunt for a results-driven, passionate individual to join our team as a Beverage Sales Director.

This pivotal role will lead, manage, and grow the Beverage segment at Galloway. This role strengthens existing customer relationships and develops new ones through regular engagement with end users, distributors, and prospective customers. Reporting to the President & CEO, the Sales Director – Beverage partners closely with customer service, scheduling, technical development/R&D, quality, accounting, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure a successful strategy that delivers superior-quality beverage ingredients on time.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue qualified new customers within the alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage segments
  • Owns customer sales performance (volume, revenue, margin) and develops and executes annual sales plans to achieve growth targets
  • Build and demonstrate strong technical knowledge of Galloway products and their application in customers’ products
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives for the assigned product portfolio
  • Gather and apply customer and market data to support product development/enhancements, packaging, innovation, and complementary offerings
  • Maintain existing relationships and in-depth knowledge of key accounts (business needs, issues, decision drivers, and products) to enable meaningful dialogue, build credibility, and add value with end users and distributors
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of the production process and Galloway product capabilities
  • Partners with Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality to align customer needs with capacity, service levels, and product performance
  • Understand key accounts’ current and long-term purchasing plans and objectives, and keep internal stakeholders informed of priorities and buying influences
  • Promote and support Galloway’s culture by operating in alignment with the organization’s North Star, Vision, and Values
  • Stay current on emerging market and industry trends and proactively share insights with relevant stakeholders
  • Clearly articulate the value of the company’s products and services to position offerings effectively
  • Maximize customer interactions by delivering impactful product and solution messaging, including developing product specifications to meet customer requirements
  • Coordinate with scheduling to plan and adjust manufacturing and delivery cycles based on customer needs
  • Develop knowledge of full business capabilities to serve as a back-up resource for other product segments

Required Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Education: 

  • 7-10 years of sales experience in food/beverage processing, packaging, food safety, or flavor industry
  • A high level of natural curiosity and innovative mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in business, food science, engineering, or related field (MBA a plus)
  • Dairy or beverage industry background a plus
  • Food safety/quality background w/knowledge of regulatory requirements (TTB) a plus
  • Working knowledge/expertise with MS Office tools
  • Experience using statistical tools, relevant metrics, and sales reporting/dash-boarding programs
