Under the direction of the Director of F&B the F&B Manager a hands-on leader responsible for the daily operations of Saint Kate's food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional guest service, quality, and operational excellence.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of all food and beverage outlets, including The Bar, The Studio, In-Room Dining, The Dark Room (private dining), Upper Bar and support Proof Pizza as needed.
  • Lead, coach, and develop outlet associates through hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, performance management, and recognition.
  • Maintain a visible, hands-on presence on the floor to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service.
  • Coach associates to consistently deliver high-quality service and provide ongoing feedback to improve performance.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service standards, taking corrective action when needed.
  • Assist in developing promotions, programming, and sales initiatives to drive revenue and enhance the guest experience.
  • Manage labor, inventory, ordering, product costs, and waste to achieve departmental financial goals.
  • Partner with Culinary, Banquets, Front Desk and other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and execution.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring timely resolution and guest satisfaction.
  • Follow all company, state, and federal regulations regarding food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and cash handling.
  • Serve as a role model for service excellence by demonstrating company standards, procedures, and hospitality expectations.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, or a related service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurants and food & beverage operations.
  • Ability to train, coach, and support team members while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and leadership.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and high level of guest service.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, lifting, reaching, and twisting.
