Position Overview

Baltimore Country Club is seeking an accomplished Beverage Manager to oversee the Club's beverage program and ensure an elevated dining experience across all a la carte operations in the Five Farms and Roland Park Clubhouses. This role requires a hospitality professional with strong leadership, refined service standards, and deep knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and beverage management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage beverage service during a la carte dining operations
  • Supervise, train, and schedule Beverage Staff Members
  • Oversee beverage inventory, ordering, tracking, and consumption reporting
  • Maintain high standards of product quality, presentation, and service
  • Collaborate closely with Accounting, Culinary, and F&B leadership
  • Support banquet operations and special events as needed
  • Contribute to department administration and operational planning

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of bar service experience; 4+ years of wine & beverage service required
  • Proven success in managing a la carte and banquet operations
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team motivation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency with F&B systems, Microsoft Excel, and Word
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Sommelier Level 1 required; Level 2 strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management preferred
  • Country club experience is a plus
