Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

  • Adhere to, implement and follow all policies of the department and company
  • Supervises and assists in daily training of managers and hourly employees and maintains open communication between all personnel working in department
  • Maintains appropriate beverage inventories and quality control with the service of alcohol
  • Ensures quality control and timeliness of beverage service. 
  • Assists in controlling labor/beverage cost for department. 
  • Knowledge of safety procedures to ensure employee and guest safety
  • Understands all PLCB regulations and ensures compliance of all applicable liquor laws for the department
  • Ensures compliance with all federal and state gaming regulations
  • Achieves budgeted revenues, control expenses and labor costs, and maximize profitability within all areas beverage
  • Maintains company operating standards.  Demonstrates professionalism that reflects our brand and company values
  • Responds to guest trends, needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects
  • Ability to extend complementariness in accordance with the property comp matrix. Other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulation.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Preferred, five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in restaurant management and supervision in a fine dining facility.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Must be Serv-Safe and RAMP certified.
  • Must have full working knowledge of POS.
  • Must have knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program.
  • Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the State and Gaming Commission for the position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work long hours.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning.
  • Ability to climb stairs multiple times daily.
  • Ability to handle multi-tasking-heavy work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms.
  • Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels.

Working Conditions:

  • 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 2000 employees.
  • Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
  • You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
  • Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Handling, carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
