2nd Shift Production Supervisor – Food & Beverage Manufacturing

Up to $75,000 Base + Time-and-a-Half Saturdays + Bonus • Jefferson, WI Area • 2nd Shift (Mon–Fri)

  • COMPENSATION: Up to $75,000 Starting Base Salary + Time-and-a-Half Overtime for Saturday Shifts + Annual Performance Bonus + Full Corporate Benefits
  • SCHEDULE: 2nd Shift | Monday through Friday (1:30 PM – 11:30 PM) | Occasional production Saturdays rewarded with time-and-a-half overtime pay
  • EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of direct production supervisory or line leadership experience in food processing, beverage, or highly regulated sanitary manufacturing
  • REGULATORY FOCUS: Solid foundational familiarity with food safety compliance frameworks (SQF, FDA, HACCP, or rigorous GMP guidelines)
  • REQUIREMENTS: US Citizen or Green Card holder residing within a comfortable, daily 45-minute drive of the Jefferson, WI area

If you are a disciplined manufacturing supervisor looking to escape high-turnover processing plants or uncompensated weekend grinds, this direct-hire leadership role offers a major step up. The employer is a rapidly growing, highly respected food manufacturing powerhouse that actively preserves a tight-knit, family-oriented corporate culture. Known for treating its employees exceptionally well and investing heavily in professional growth, they provide a stable platform where leaders build lifelong careers.

As the Lead Operations Supervisor, you will take the reins of the second-shift production crew across heavily automated, world-class sanitary processing lines. You won't just be monitoring machinery; you will shape team culture, drive continuous improvement metrics, and own the safety, quality, and throughput of your production window—backed by a clear structured path toward senior operations management.

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)
  • Provide direct shift floor leadership, mentoring and motivating a high-performing production crew, managing daily shift schedules, and optimizing labor allocation across active lines.
  • Optimize raw material flow and resource allocation to minimize downtime, eliminate bottlenecks, and consistently achieve aggressive shift output targets.
  • Enforce strict food safety protocols, championing a culture of absolute compliance with FDA, SQF, HACCP, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
  • Lead localized continuous improvement (Lean/5S) projects to enhance floor procedures, cut waste, and boost Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Facilitate seamless cross-shift communication and structured handoffs between first and second shift teams.
  • Maintain a zero-incident safety culture, conducting risk assessments, addressing shop-floor hazards, and managing daily shift performance logs via ERP/software systems.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)
  • 3+ years of verifiable supervisory experience in a sanitary, climate-controlled, or highly regulated plant setting (food processing, beverage, consumer goods, or blending).
  • Proven leadership capability to direct, motivate, and hold a diverse production workforce accountable to productivity and safety metrics.
  • Labor Relations Competency: Comfortable navigating the nuances of a union environment, maintaining fair labor practices, and resolving floor issues with professional diplomacy.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook) or ERP/MES production tracking systems.
  • Stable Work History: Progressive professional record demonstrating reliability, strong attendance, and multi-year tenures.
  • Proximity to the facility, residing within a dependable 45-minute daily driving radius of the Jefferson, WI area.
