JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Efficiently and accurately takes and delivers beverage orders in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Handles cash and credit transactions associated with beverage sales, accurately and efficiently.
  • Provides appropriate change to guests.
  • Proactively seeks guest opportunities and anticipates guest’s needs to create “magical moments”.
  • Interacts with guests in a friendly manner while taking drink orders, to include up-selling.
  • Maintains assigned areas by keeping them clean and free of debris throughout the shift.
  • Is diligent in tracking gaming guests while they move about the gaming floor to ensure accuracy of beverage delivery and an exceptional service experience.
  • Maintain knowledge and terminology of beer, wine, spirits, and non- alcoholic beverages.
  • Be familiar with domestic and imported beers, different types of wine, brand name spirits and garnishments.
  • Working knowledge of designated glassware, ingredients, and preparation of each drink.
  • Maintain product inventory and supplies including garnishes, glassware, ice, and miscellaneous service well supplies throughout shift.
  • Ensure the service area is properly set up at the beginning of the shift and close the service area at the end of the shift in accordance with Company standards.
  • Ensure receipt of accurate payments, balance cash drawer during shift, and maintain security and accuracy of bank.
  • Maintain regular attendance at scheduled shift and staff meetings.
  • Cocktail, bus, and service guests through the shift ensuring a visually appealing environment.
  • Make sure all ashtrays are clean and empty throughout entire shift.
  • Consistently uses all beverage and bar equipment, cleaning, and sanitizing products in accordance with all SDS sheets and departmental standards.
  • To provide BIG Service to internal and external guests and ensure their complete satisfaction, inclusive of greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences, remaining calm and professional when dealing with guests that are difficult or upset.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Internal candidates must have been in their current position for at least six months and have no active disciplinary action during the last six months.
  • Must be able to obtain required work cards, alcohol awareness cards and non-gaming registration as required by the local jurisdiction.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to obtain and provide STAR Certification prior to start date.
