About the Organization

  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, ensuring they understand mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care techniques.
  • Track client progress meticulously and modify treatment plans as necessary to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, other mental health professionals, and healthcare providers for integrated health care approaches.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical regulations.
  • Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional education opportunities to enrich your skills and knowledge base.
  • Act as a client advocate, promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma while addressing client needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients dealing with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. In particular, you may work with various vulnerable populations such as individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, or survivors of domestic abuse. This role provides an excellent opportunity for you to utilize your therapeutic skills to foster recovery, offer support, and create lasting change in your clients' lives.

Qualifications
  • A current and active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona is required.
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering secure and trusting relationships with clients.
  • Empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clientsโ€™ experiences, promoting a safe therapeutic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively while balancing administrative responsibilities.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working with mood disorders and diverse populations is strongly preferred, enhancing your ability to connect with clients experiencing similar challenges.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in implementing evidence-based therapies, particularly CBT and DBT, within a clinical setting.
  • Experience in collaborative care environments, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care to clients.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, health insurance, and a retirement plan, which contribute to your overall well-being and professional longevity.
