Summary
York Space Systems is seeking a Data Analyst who will support payroll and benefits operations by running, maintaining, and troubleshooting reports from the HRIS system and Power BI. This role ensures data accuracy, assists with recurring payroll and benefits reporting needs, and supports auditing and compliance activities. The Analyst handles sensitive employee information with the highest level of confidentiality while providing reliable day to day reporting support to the team.
Key Responsibilities
• Create, run and maintain payroll and benefits reports from the HRIS and Power BI.
• Assist with the creation of dashboards and visualizations using Power BI under guidance from senior team members.
• Troubleshoot report errors, data discrepancies, and system issues, as needed.
• Handle sensitive employee data securely, ensuring compliance with privacy and confidentiality requirements.
• Collaborate with Payroll and Benefits team members to perform data entry and ensure data accuracy and integrity across databases and reports
Qualifications
• High School degree/GED.
• 1-2 years of experience in HR, Payroll, Benefits, or data/reporting support roles.
• Hands-on experience running or modifying reports in HRIS systems (Workday, UKG, ADP, or similar preferred).
• Basic knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools; willingness to learn advanced skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite including pivot tables, v-look up, formulas, and merger.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Solid communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail, ensuring accurate reporting
