Specific Responsibilities
The Benefits Analyst II is responsible for analyzing, administering, and supporting the company's employee benefits programs. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, administering leave programs, conducting benefits research, and identifying recommendations for program improvements. The Benefits Analyst II will work closely with HR, finance, and external vendors to deliver high-quality benefits services to employees.
• Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
• Administer employee leave programs and coordinate with employees, HR, managers and payroll to ensure accurate tracking, documentation and compliance.
• Process vendor invoices by reviewing for accuracy, resolving discrepancies, coordinating approvals, and supporting timely payment.
• Conduct benefits research and analysis to support program development and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits.
• Assist in the development and implementation of benefits communication and education materials.
• Provide support to employees regarding benefits inquiries and issues and coordinate resolutions for issues.
• Collaborate with HR, finance, and external vendors to ensure seamless benefits administration.
• Monitor and analyze benefits trends and suggest for program enhancements.
• Prepare and maintain benefits-related reports and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Math, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related field.
• Experience with benefits compliance and regulations.
• Experience working with benefits vendors and third-party administrators.
• Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or similar certification is preferred.
