Exciting opportunity at a growing company in Northwest Houston for an HR professional with compensation analytical skills.


The Compensation Analyst is responsible for assessing the company’s pay structure for employees by researching compensation trends. This involves analyzing market trends in the hospitality industry and ensure compliance with legal regulations.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

The primary job duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct job evaluations, market benchmarking, and analysis for roles to ensure competitive positioning and internal equity.
  • Prepare compensation analysis, models, reports, and materials to support compensation planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and validate data inputs required for compensation planning, modeling, and reporting.
  • Maintain compensation tools, documentation of various compensation programs.
  • Research compensation trends, regulatory changes, and market practices to support program development and refinement.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.


Minimum Qualifications

Listed below are the minimum qualifications required to successfully perform this role. These qualifications are necessary for someone to be considered for this position.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 + years compensation experience, including exposure to base pay, benchmarking, job analysis.
  • Advanced level user of Excel (i.e., pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas, macros).
  • Knowledgeable of HRIS and compensation related tools/software.
  • Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, strong analytical skills and mathematical aptitude required, and understanding of how an organization function.
