Job Description

Working with the Aramark Benefits team means touching the lives of all our employees from stadiums to hospitals, schools, and more! The Director, Benefit Services will work in our fast-paced, vibrant environment to lead the optimization and delivery of our U.S. benefits technology ecosystem-supporting a workforce of over 140,000 US employees within a 250,000-employee global organization.

The Director of Benefits Services will be actively involved with the strategy, design, administration, and compliance of Aramark's health & welfare and retirement programs as well as support other benefit programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a proven, confident Benefits professional with a track record of providing solid service, advice and guidance to senior management, colleagues and employees.

This position is based out of Aramark's Global Headquarters in Philadelphia. 

Job Responsibilities

   Aligning benefit strategies with overall Total Rewards, HR, and business strategy and objectives 
   Supporting the Vice President of Benefits in the development short and long-term retirement, health and welfare and wellbeing strategy and plan design 
   Working independently and in conjunction with the Benefits Team on resolving complex benefit issues on a regular basis
   Implement and enforce Benefits processes and programs including market competitive reviews, internal consistency, governance and financial analysis 
   Preparing reporting as needed on key metrics related to benefits strategy and operations 
   Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with key benefit stakeholders across the organization (e.g. human resources, payroll, finance, legal) to support the company's and benefit department's goals and objectives 
   Leading request for proposal (RFP) processes as needed for vendor review and selection as well as new program implementations
   Provide consultative technical expertise, advice, and guidance regarding benefits matters to the Vice President of Benefits
   Assisting employees, including company executives, by explaining benefits plan details and pricing structures
   Evaluating the costs and benefits of key programs, such as wellness programs, life and disability insurance, employee assistance programs and employee discount programs
   Build strong relationships and collaborate with all levels of the organization to ensure benefits strategies align with and support organizational business and HR strategies.
   Assist in the coordination renewals with internal and external resources, including market competitiveness studies, remarketing efforts, cost effective plan design alternatives review and regulatory compliance.
   Foster robust wellbeing and rewards programs that connect the employee to the Company and community
   Assist with the policy management, communication and overall structure of company vacation, PTO and time away from work initiatives 
   Stay current on changing Federal and State regulations and legislation that may affect employee benefits
   Ongoing vendor management 

Qualifications

   Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of related technical benefits functional experience
   15+ years of related experience, preferably in a multinational environment
   Demonstrate strong analytical and technical skills; ability to perform independent in-depth analysis and present findings
   Advanced Proficiency and technical aptitude with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
   Outstanding organizational ability including a keen attention to detail, strong follow-up skills; deadline oriented and proven ability to prioritize and multi-task.
   Demonstrated ability to develop and implement program and process management improvements and efficiencies
   Strong verbal and written communication skills
   Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
   Strong communication and presentation skills
   Ability to lead and manage multiple priorities, and transition seamlessly between day-to-day tactical activities and broader strategy
