This position is full-time on site in Fort Worth, TX at Bell's headquarters location.   

US Government Military Contracts Team

Bring your skills and experience as a Contract Administrator who will conduct proposal preparations and contract admin tasks including customer correspondence, coordination with internal functional POCs, and contract reporting; conducts contract negotiations and review of contract documents and supports contract closeout.

What you'll be doing as a Military Contracts Administrator:

  • Performs proposal tasks including review of RFIs/RFPs; prepare Estimate Requests, Proposals, and Work Authorizations
  • Conducts Contract negotiations and review of Contract document
  • Performs Contract admin tasks including customer correspondence, coordination with internal and external customers to ensure compliance with contract terms
  • Performs Contract closeout tasks
  • Review terms and conditions of contractual/requirement documents
  • Assess, maintain, and utilize Bell information management systems for reports/metrics, correspondence, files, presentations, analyses, and contract administration
  • Support special assignments and projects within Contracts
  • Support personnel in multiple functions, Integrated Program Teams, and Centers of Excellence and at a variety of levels to ensure effective and efficient compliance with contractual and customer requirements
  • Demonstrate good customer relationship management skills and be the primary liaison between external customer and Bell for contractual matters

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.  Bachelors in Business Administration or a related field of study is preferred
  • 2 years work experience in Contracts, Procurement, Finance, Pricing, Legal, Business Management or Program Management is required. 
  • Experience with U.S. Government Contracts or USG acquisition process is preferred
  • Experience or Familiarity with FAR/DFARS is preferred
  • Ability to organize, plan, prioritize and handle a variety of Contracts assignments 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as this role will be engaging with USG customers daily via phone calls.  
  • Ability to work effectively with customers and representatives from other departments.

NOTE: Bell/Textron Relocation Assistance is NOT available for this role.
