About this Role
We believe people should love what they do - in this role, you will be responsible for :
  • Conducting supplier audits to quality standards and in support of supplier selection and improvement.
  • Driving effective root cause analyses and corrective action for Lycoming and its customers. Spearheads process improvement activities at supplier facilities.
  • Facilitating preventative actions and process control supplier projects that improve quality .
  • Analyzing and making decisions utilizing metrics meaningful to supplier quality improvement.
  • Providing a clear vision of supplier development strategy and processes for internal and supplier teams.

Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Six Sigma knowledge/certification preferred.
  • Previous internship experience in manufacturing or quality engineering environment preferred
  • You will not now, or in the future, require sponsorship ( i.e. H-1B visa, etc.) to legally work in the U.S.
