Bell Piney Flats Team
Bring your experience and ideas and join the Bell Piney Flats team. This position will act as support for BPR (Bell Property Returns), CPR (Customer Property Returns), and the CAP (Customer Advantage Plan) / Warranty team. In this position you'll have an opportunity to grow and showcase your skills by working in the warehouse, shipping, and parts control areas.
This position is 1st Shift (8:30AM-6:00PM). This position requires ability to be mandatory on call (24/7 for a week) for AOG (Aircraft On Ground/stranded) or for business need on a rotational basis (typically once every six weeks).
This position is onsite in Piney Flats, Tennessee.
What you'll be doing as a BPR & Warranty Warehouse Representative:
• Expedite orders as necessary, for AOG (Aircraft On Ground) or other customer requirements.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and perform cycle counting.
• Work in SAP MRP systems to perform job duties as required.
• Locate, move, track or report status of required components for CAP/Warranty deliveries.
• Unpack received component and verify component is listed correctly on accompanying paperwork, and the components match the packing list and FAA 8130-3 description.
• Inspect the received components for damage.
• Create shipping labels, bills of lading, packing list, etc.
• Schedule freight and cargo daily pickups.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Operate company vehicles to include forklifts, golf carts, trucks, and other vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills You Bring to This Role:
• Basic computer skills MS office programs (esp. MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and professional business conduct.
• Initiative, motivation, and ability to learn quickly.
• Experience working with FedEx, UPS, DHL and similar companies.
• Demonstrated flexibility in satisfying customer demand in a high volume, fast paced environment.
• Strong organization skills.
What you need to be successful:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience related to job duties. Additional experience may qualify selected candidate for offer at higher level/salary grade.
• Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment, to include golf carts, trucks, and other vehicles.
• Proficiency with safely operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
• Previous Warehouse/Shipping experience is strongly preferred.
• Hazmat and Export experience is strongly preferred.
• Employee Processor Certification for Explosives is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds, or to team lift up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of standing for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
• Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
• Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for duration of shift.
• Ability to use computer, to include keyboard, mouse, and standard company software.
• Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures during the summer time.
