Join the Optum Onsites team!

We deliver employer-based primary care that focuses on whole-person health, not occupational health services. This role is primarily based in Waupaca, with occasional coverage in Marinette, supporting care teams during PTO and continuing education. Schedules are thoughtfully planned to reduce excessive travel and avoid regular back-and-forth between Waupaca and Marinette and keep your days manageable. Travel support is provided as needed. This is a great fit for a confident, independent NP or PA who enjoys variety and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Clinic locations and hours are:

Waupaca Foundry: N2610 WI-22, Waupaca, WI 54981 Mon-Thurs: 7am-6pm & Friday: 7am-3pm

Marinette Foundry: 3900 Hall Ave, Marinette, WI 54143 Mon-Tues and Thurs-Fri: 7am-5pm

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the highest quality Primary Care services including:
  • Wellness and Preventative Physical Exams
  • Acute care of minor illness and injuries
  • Chronic Disease Management and Longitudinal care
  • Minor procedures (suturing, splinting, incision/drainage, etc.)
  • Lifestyle and well-being counseling
  • Medical management of behavioral health conditions

You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required Qualifications:

  • One of the following licensures in Wisconsin:
    • Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the ANCC/AANP
    • Certified Physician Assistant through the NCCPA
  • Active DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration
  • Current CPR certification
  • 2+ years of clinical experience working as a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant providing services in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, ambulatory, emergency and/or urgent care setting(s)
  • Experience using computers for professional communication
  • Experience using Electronic Health Record systems for medical documentation
  • Experience seeing patients of all ages, including children and adolescents
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between Waupaca and Marinette based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Athena EMR for medical documentation
  • Proven ability to work autonomously in a clinical setting

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $52.64 to $78.85 per hour. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
