Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual teletherapy sessions with clients utilizing video chat technology, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for discussion.

• Develop tailored treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, utilizing evidence-based practices and your unique therapeutic approach.
• Serve as a client advocate by assisting them in defining personal goals and navigating their treatment journey.
• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to best meet their evolving needs.
• Document client interactions and maintain accurate, confidential records while minimizing administrative overhead through our streamlined processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client roster will consist exclusively of pre-screened, low-acuity adults seeking support for various mental health challenges. Our patients are stable and primarily require counseling for issues such as anxiety, stress management, relationship concerns, and life transitions. By focusing on this demographic, you will be expected to create a supportive therapeutic alliance that promotes healing and self-efficacy.

Qualifications

• A current and valid therapist license in the state of California as either an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or PsyD.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A strong sense of empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
• Organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively while providing timely care.

Preferred Experience

We value experience that enhances clinical knowledge and therapeutic techniques. Preferred qualifications include: previous teletherapy experience, familiarity with telehealth platforms, and expertise in specific clinical areas such as trauma, addiction, or child and adolescent mental health.
